Beneficiary and project partners: National Integrity Agency implements the project in partnership with Ministry of Justice and Transparency International Romania I Romanian Association for Transparency.
Project objectives:
The general objective of the project consists in the inventory of all normative acts and the updating of the legal framework in the field of integrity that refers to incompatibilities, conflicts of interests and unjustified assets, as well as improving the system of declaring assets and interests, based on the needs of the stakeholders, grounded on analyses and sociological research.
Specific objectives:
Updating the legal framework referring to prevention and sanction conflicts of interests; incompatibilities and unjustified assets;
Supporting the public authorities and institutions in order to optimize the process of electronic submissions of the declarations regarding the assets and interests (DAI) and developing a series of uniform procedures;
Developing the knowledge of the public institutions’ staff appointed to manage the process of completing and submitting through the e-DAI system the electronic declarations of assets and interests.
Aimed results:
Project result 1: Updated legal framework referring to prevention and sanction conflicts of interests; incompatibilities and unjustified assets.
Project result 2: Support provision to the public authorities and institutions in order to optimize the process of electronic submissions of the declarations regarding the assets and interests and a series of uniform procedures elaborated.
Project result 3: Integrity awareness campaigns carried out.
Project result 4: Improved knowledge and skills of the public institutions’ staff appointed to manage the process of completing and submitting through the e-DAI system the electronic declarations of assets and interests.
Total budget of the project: 7.508.757 RON (6.644.327 RON non-refundable funds)
